Prevent recalls
Check & inspect
Prevent such disasters with consistent inspections
Product recalls are a disaster; damage to the image among buyers and end customers, considerable effort and high costs are just some of the consequences. Depending on the industry and the product, random sample tests may not be a reliable enough method to prevent such disasters from ever occurring. In addition, the risks are so varied, that manual inspections may also require a great deal of additional effort. Automated Bizerba inspection solutions ensure consistent quality of products and packaging, one by one. Defects are reliably detected and the effected products are automatically discarded by separating systems.
Only top quality leaves the premises
Some defects can be ruled out by simply weighing with a dynamic checkweigher– such as missing components in packages with non-food products or underfilled food packages leaving production. Where food is concerned, this means contamination, damaged packaging or missing or illegible labels, which represent a serious risk – not only to the manufacturer's image and sales, but also to the health of end consumers. Such quality issues can be reliably identified with suitable inspection systems.
Checking & inspecting in top form
Dynamic in-motion scales
Dynamic checkweighers
Improve product safety and efficiency with networked dynamic checkweighers. Bizerba checkweighers provide accurate weighing results and satisfy the most demanding hygiene requirements.
Metal detectors
Metal detectors from Bizerba quickly and reliably identify all ferrous and non-ferrous metals in packed and unpacked unit goods. Separating systems reliably remove contaminated items.
X-ray inspection systems
X-ray technology can be used to detect non-ferrous contaminants in a packaged product. Glass, plastic or even bone parts are reliably detected due to their different densities, and the contaminated packages are removed.
Vision inspection systems
Vision inspection systems see more: seals that aren't tight, damaged packaging, discolored or deformed products, improperly applied or missing labels – these and other defects can also be reliably detected using relevant visual inspection.
