Battery box BK-Ex 24V

The BK-Ex 24 V is an ideal accessory for mobile systems in Ex zones.
Having a high loading capacity it provides the necessary power supply in particular for mobile systems which cannot be permanently connected to the power supply. With weighing terminals iS30-Z2, iS50-Z2 and iS50-Ex the battery box BK-Ex 24V shows its full strength and reliably ensures power supply. The connection system located on the battery box can be separated in the Ex zone. Thus, the BK-Ex 24V can be replaced on the spot by a charged battery box and serves as a replacement battery box. The BK-Ex 24V is charged in the Ex-free area by means of the charger for BK-Ex 24V.

Battery box BK-Ex 24V is designed for explosive areas such as in the chemical industry. It is ideally suitable in connection with the following weighing terminals:

  • iS50-Ex
  • iS50-Z2
  • iS30-Z2

Details & Options

During charging an integrated valve regulates the pressure compensation. This way, there is no need to open the housing during charging. As a matter of course, the BK-Ex 24V meets the requirements in accordance with ATEX and IECEx.
