| iba 2023, one of the leading international trade shows for bakery, confectionary and snacks, will be held from October 22 - 26, in Munich. In hall A3, booth 500, visitors can expect a selection of innovative solutions from Bizerba, which is leading the bakery craft into a digital future.

Based on the motto "Shape your future. Today." Bizerba, invites visitors from the bakery industry to transform their craftsmanship with smart solutions. Linking different areas will not only offer customers a contemporary shopping experience, but will also enable an efficient and more streamlined operation in the storefront and preparation room.

Self-determined shopping while saving time

The RetailApp MyOrder allows customers to shop via Click & Collect. The orders are placed online by end customers and prepared directly at the K3 counter scale in order to guarantee a smooth pick up experience. Alongside this, a self-service area is provided, which comprises the intelligent Smart Shelf baked goods shelf and the powerful CSPi bread slicer.

Precise bread slicing made easy

The CSP and CSPi bread slicers from Bizerba ensure an efficient bread slicing experience. Whether behind the counter or in the self-service area, as a stand-alone or integrated version - the intuitive touch screen operation enables it to cut bread in various forms and textures into even slices quickly and safely. The covered blade, which is placed in the cleaning position electronically, ensures a high safety standard. The compact and quiet models integrate seamlessly into the store concept and offer simple cleaning with new hygiene features.

Sustainable business thanks to smart technology

Bizerba promotes sustainable business practices through technology such as Smart Shelf, which automatically controls the production and refilling of baked goods in order to reduce food waste. The GSP H slicer with intelligent motor controller helps to reduce electricity costs. Additionally, the receipt is digitized with the RetailApp DigitalReceipt, in order to reduce waste paper.

Transparency and smooth operation

The Bizerba management software RetailControl connects the solutions seamlessly with back office. The SmarterSlicing functions of the CSP bread slicer report automatically on the need for maintenance, cleaning times and blade sharpening in order to optimize performance and availability. Bizerba customers benefit from transparent sales figures and round-the-clock remote support.
